As global leaders gather at COP30 to confront the climate crisis, a new policy brief by BIOcean5D, BlueRemediomics and the Tara Ocean Foundation highlights the potential and risks of ocean carbon sequestration, urging caution and emphasising the need to prioritise direct emission reductions.

Swimming against the current: highlighting the value of plankton services for marine conservation

Recently published BIOcean5D research highlights the understudied value of plankton, their ecosystem services and disservices, and the importance of integrating this knowledge into marine policy.
